Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Corporate Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage intricate strategic sourcing projects within Corporate Services categories.

• Formulate and implement sourcing strategies that yield measurable outcomes for clients.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to pinpoint priorities and address challenges.

• Manage the comprehensive RFP process, encompassing data collection, RFP creation and execution, proposal assessment, supplier negotiations, presentation of results, award determinations, and contracting assistance.

• Direct supplier proposal evaluations utilizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling.

• Create and apply strategies for cost reduction, including value engineering and demand optimization.

• Lead research and analytics efforts to substantiate savings predictions and facilitate supplier negotiations.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.

• Conduct supplier research and monitor market trends and capabilities.

• Enable effective communication between client business units and suppliers.

• Establish and manage supplier ecosystems segmented by category and region.

• Review significant contracts and act as a subject matter expert during complex negotiations.

• Track and analyze expenditure, supplier performance, and savings objectives.

• Forge relationships at all levels of the organization, including partnerships with C-suite executives.

• Report directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing - Corporate Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• At least seven (7) years of experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing, with substantial knowledge of Corporate Services.

• Demonstrated experience in developing sourcing strategies and leading extensive sourcing initiatives.

• Strong negotiating skills with suppliers.

• Previous experience engaging with clients and/or stakeholders at all organizational levels, particularly in a services-oriented industry.

• Proven expertise in TCO modeling and making data-driven decisions.

• Experience in managing change and fostering cross-functional agreement.

• Background in identifying and implementing value engineering and specification optimization recommendations.

• In-depth understanding of supplier ecosystems relevant to Corporate Services categories.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to meet client expectations, influence stakeholders, or escalate issues when necessary.

• Capability to interpret complex data and convert insights into business recommendations.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Aptitude for building relationships and establishing credibility beyond defined responsibilities.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a dedication to client service.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.

• Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment.

• Minimal travel is required.

• Willingness to travel less than 15%.
