SonarQube Administrator – Code Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and manage SonarQube Server

• Set up global parameters and project-specific configurations

• Manage projects, portfolios, and components based on the SonarQube edition being used

• Oversee users, groups, and permissions

• Monitor code quality and ensure adherence to defined standards

• Identify, analyze, and manage exceptions and false positives in a controlled manner

• Provide technical support to development teams regarding code quality issues

• Create and maintain Quality Profiles

• Activate, deactivate, and configure analysis rules

• Define differentiated profiles based on programming languages

• Analyze the technical impact of modifying quality rules

• Suggest continuous improvements in static analysis processes

• Experience in installing and configuring SonarQube Server

• Knowledge of setting up global and project-specific parameters

• Experience managing projects and portfolios

• Knowledge in user, group, and permission management

• Ability to manage exceptions and false positives

• Experience in creating and maintaining Quality Profiles

• Advanced understanding of static analysis rules

• Experience with multiple programming languages

• Ability to assess the impact of changes to quality rules

• Knowledge of integration with CI/CD tools
