This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Take ownership of the Cisco brand among customers and partners as a technical sales expert.
• Deliver technical solutions that meet the business needs of customers and partners.
• Collaborate with designated Inside Account Executives to develop customer plans and enhance customer success.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for account teams and customers/partners.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of Cisco’s offerings and improve market penetration through cross-selling, up-selling, and competitive displacement.
• Manage the technical relationship with customers and partners.
• Engage with IT decision-makers and business lines.
• Convert customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Focus the majority of selling time on securing opportunities and expanding within accounts.
• Participate in strategic planning for the territory.
• Provide insights on customer needs, market possibilities, and competitive strategies.
• Navigate deals through the technical sales process.
• Design and articulate solutions that align with both technical and business needs.
• Oversee a virtual support team of sales resources.
• Utilize tools and resources to facilitate deals.
• Achieve technical closure.
• Drive revenue growth, outpace competitors, increase market share, and acquire net-new customers every quarter.
• Experience in selling or supporting security, networking, compute, and/or collaboration solutions.
• CCNA-level proficiency or experience in campus network design, including switching, wireless, and routing.
• A minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing sales engineering or technical pre-sales position (preferred).
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise (CCNP EN) or CCIE certification (preferred).
• Demonstrated success in technical sales or solutions engineering roles (preferred).
• Capability to cultivate new opportunities and expand business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in effectively engaging with customers and partners.
