Solutions Engineer – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.

• Design and propose customized infrastructure solutions that align with customer business goals.

• Build and sustain technical relationships with OEMs and key strategic partners.

• Keep abreast of the latest product information.

• Provide product training and technical education for sales teams and customers.

• Serve as a trusted IT advisor to customers in collaboration with Field Account Executives.

• Manage the solution practice pipeline by formulating strategies for top prospects and acquiring new business opportunities.

• Identify technology prospects across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services.

• Create solutions tailored to customer needs and budgets through strategic planning.

• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client contacts for thorough account management.

• Educate and train sales teams on technical selling, products, services, and technology trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position is necessary.

• Experience in managing complex Data Center sales opportunities.

• Proficiency in designing data center infrastructures, including hybrid cloud, hyper-converged systems, SDDC, infrastructure/platform as a service, automation, containerization, and Data Center Management Platforms.

• Strong expertise in virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, SDDC, containerization, and automation.

• Ability to effectively communicate and sell complex technical products or services.

• Proficient in Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.

• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions.

• Willingness to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

• Advanced certification in the listed mainstream technologies is preferred.
