Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the main workflow owner for designated clients, encompassing both pilot and live accounts.

• Relay data requirements, timelines, and anticipated outcomes to the team and clients.

• Ingest, sanitize, and process data submitted by clients, including spreadsheets, claims, encounter notes, and lab results.

• Extract, transform, and validate datasets utilizing Python, SQL, and associated tools.

• Create scripts and lightweight tools to automate recurring data preparation and delivery tasks.

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to resolve ingestion pipeline issues, ensure quality assurance of outputs, and enhance automation.

• Guarantee that deliverables comply with standards for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and HIPAA security.

• Compile and present client results with input from clinical subject matter experts to provide interpretative context.

• Monitor and report on client health metrics to facilitate renewals and ongoing improvement.

• Enhance internal delivery playbooks, templates, and documentation as the team evolves.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation (pandas, requests, etc.).

• Experience in handling healthcare data (claims, clinical notes, lab results, or EHR exports).

• Familiarity with Excel/CSVs and foundational SQL for data extraction and validation.

• Strong communication and project management abilities; capable of bridging the gap between technical and clinical environments.

• Self-motivated individual comfortable in a dynamic startup setting with changing specifications and limited documentation.

• Experience in health tech startups or consulting is a plus.

• Knowledge of EHR systems and value-based care models is advantageous.

• Familiarity with risk adjustment, RAF scoring, or clinical data quality processes is a bonus.
