This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Assist in the technical sales process.
• Aid the sales team in technical prospecting to identify potential opportunities.
• Showcase ThousandEyes solutions, features, and use cases.
• Develop and sustain trusted-advisor relationships with customers from a technical standpoint.
• Provide support to customers during solution trials.
• Define the scope and design architecture for solution deployments.
• Present findings to decision-makers during trial conclusion meetings.
• Engage in Solutions Engineering team initiatives and attend weekly team meetings.
• Take part in quarterly business review meetings focused on sales.
• Share insights on technical subjects and highlight successful outcomes.
• Discuss technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Create and improve demonstration materials.
• Investigate technical subjects affecting the industry.
• Assist at trade shows, networking events, and ThousandEyes Connect gatherings.
• Contribute to blogs, social media content, white papers, and case studies.
• Provide feedback and suggestions regarding solutions to Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Participate in both internal and external solution beta programs.
• Collaborate with Customer Success on post-sales support, including training and deployment.
• Motivate customers to utilize Customer Success as an extension of their Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Over 8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering.
• Proficient in working with application and network protocols, such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP.
• Experience in designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructures.
• Familiarity with unified communications technologies or solutions.
• Knowledge of application and network performance analysis tools.
• Preferred: experience in packet analysis for network and application protocols.
• Preferred: proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Perl, or JavaScript.
• Preferred: experience troubleshooting and supporting Apple, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Preferred: experience delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to both technical and business audiences.
