This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary internal and external authority on Cresta's AI Agent functionalities.
• Engage at the beginning of the sales cycle to build technical credibility and expedite opportunity progress.
• Collaborate with Core Solutions Engineers and take ownership of the AI Agent technical narrative.
• Design and conduct technical discovery workshops with potential customers.
• Investigate AI Agent use cases, determine implementation scope, and align on a value pathway.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to refine use cases and assess integration needs and API viability.
• Manage intricate, high-stakes AI Agent demonstrations alongside the Core SE team.
• Qualify and shape AI Agent opportunities prior to proof-of-value assessments.
• Develop financial ROI models and participate in ROI workshops with Sales Directors and Core SEs.
• Work collaboratively with Forward Deployed PMs and Engineers to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sale to deployment.
• Incorporate deployment insights on agent performance, edge cases, and customer results into pre-sale positioning and discovery.
• Provide structured feedback on products and engineering based on AI Agent opportunities.
• Share knowledge through enablement sessions, playbooks, and informal coaching within the SE organization.
• Minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing technical position, with 1–3 years in pre-sales for large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience in designing, building, or selling AI Agents or agentic AI systems, including knowledge of agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and LLM-based architectures.
• Solid understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and how enterprise systems link to AI Agent workflows.
• Experience with Conversational AI, contact center platforms, or voice/chat automation technologies.
• Capability to simplify complex AI concepts and convey technical depth as clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Skills in workshop facilitation and collaboration, including whiteboarding with engineering teams and presenting to C-suite executives.
• Highly organized, meticulous in preparation, and dedicated to providing exceptional prospect experiences.
• Resourceful problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity, garner internal support, and lead complex technical discussions to clear outcomes.
• Ability to write Python for prototyping, scripting, or demo customization is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com and enterprise contact center technologies is a plus.
