This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Enhance POS reporting within the designated territory.
• Establish and nurture relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and end users.
• Conduct a minimum of 10 sales visits to end-users and generate at least 10 opportunities weekly.
• Execute and document product demonstrations, assessments, and follow-ups on closed opportunities.
• Carry out business reviews with distributors, focusing on engagement, pipeline, closed business, manufacturers, and quarterly planning.
• Maintain and finalize top opportunities in Salesforce to achieve territory objectives.
• Organize strategy sessions with aligned manufacturers to discuss pipeline, engagement, POS statistics, and planning targets.
• Propel revenue growth through opportunity creation, pipeline management, and adherence to LineDrive strategic selling principles.
• Review the Salesforce pipeline on a weekly basis, ensure data accuracy, eliminate unviable opportunities, and strategize key deal closures.
• Develop call plans and collaborate with Inside Sales on opportunity development, joint meetings, and follow-ups.
• Travel within the territory, ensuring a minimum of 30% market travel cycle.
• Analyze territory coverage utilizing Power BI and POS data to identify trends, manufacturer gaps, and opportunity shortfalls.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations on targeted campaigns.
• Conduct monthly pipeline cadence reviews with the manager.
• Present bundled manufacturer solutions and strategic value during distributor training sessions.
• Collaborate with Safety Specialists to develop coordinated territory strategies, training, pipeline management, and end-user targeting.
• Accurately complete and submit expense reports on time.
• Oversee approved offsite storage of company products and samples.
• Appropriately utilize territory Travel & Expense budgets.
• Meet assigned sales goals for both manufacturers and distributors.
• Maintain an accurate and advancing pipeline along with up-to-date Salesforce records.
• Conduct distributor sales training sessions and sustain communication with sales and cross-functional teams.
• 3–5 years of experience in outside sales is required.
• Background in MRO industrial supply is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of industrial distribution channels and the dynamics between manufacturers and distributors.
• Previous experience in industrial distribution, such as with Grainger, Fastenal, or MSC Industrial, is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is necessary.
• Experience with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, is required.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms like Power BI is essential.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and act with urgency.
• Strong presentation and facilitation capabilities, with confidence in leading group training sessions.
• Proven consultative selling skills.
• Ability to analyze data for strategic planning and prioritization of opportunities.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing a book of business through effective time and territory management.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Collaborative working style across cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to ongoing improvement through feedback, learning, and innovation.
• Must hold and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and have the ability to operate a vehicle.
• Capability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to walk through end-user facilities for up to 5 hours continuously.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
• May necessitate frequent travel, approximately 60% quarterly within the market territory.
