Solutions Architect, Enterprise IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise IT, security, and infrastructure teams.

• Design customized solutions that address network access and bandwidth, device management, and security needs.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams on significant enterprise deals to eliminate technical obstacles.

• Oversee Voxel's adherence to customer security standards and spearhead security assessments, IT questionnaires, and architectural approvals.

• Develop customer-facing solution documents and architecture diagrams.

• Work alongside the Deployment team to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

• Act as the primary escalation point for intricate enterprise IT, network, and security issues.

• Convert enterprise customer requirements into technical specifications for Product and Engineering teams.

• Create reusable reference architectures and solution patterns for future enterprise engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in roles related to solutions architecture, sales engineering, or enterprise IT/network engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of corporate IT networking and systems, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, Linux internals, and edge/IoT architectures.

• Experience leading technical discussions with senior technical stakeholders across enterprise IT, security, and infrastructure teams.

• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from enterprise clients and articulate them into precise technical specifications for Engineering.

• Strong history of producing customer-facing technical documentation, solution designs, and architecture diagrams.

• Understanding of enterprise security requirements and processes, such as security assessments, IT questionnaires, and compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

• Practical experience with 802.1X, certificate management/PKI, or enterprise device management (preferred).

• Experience in large multi-site environments such as warehouses, distribution centers, or retail (preferred).

• Relevant certifications like CCNP, CISSP, or equivalents are advantageous (preferred).
