This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of client challenges and align them with Cohere solutions.
• Collaborate with account executives, the partner ecosystem, and senior leadership.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, managing technical relationships with stakeholders.
• Enhance the adoption of Cohere products both internally and externally.
• Collect customer insights and feedback to influence future product development.
• Lead the design and implementation of customer pilots for key enterprise and government clients.
• Manage the client’s technical narrative from discovery and architecture to pilot results and business case.
• Provide structured customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Lead the technical discussions during customer calls.
• Design enterprise architectures for North deployments, including on-premises, air-gapped, and sovereign cloud configurations that comply with German and EU standards.
• Conduct in-depth analyses on customer inquiries and Cohere technology.
• Collaborate with customer executives to prioritize use cases, establish success metrics, and develop the AI adoption business case.
• Facilitate customer evaluations and pilots within the client’s technology stacks.
• Manage the technical responses to RFPs and public tenders, including security questionnaires and aligning Lastenheft requirements with Cohere’s solutions.
• Create and document processes that enable the Solutions Architect and related teams to scale effectively.
• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to ensure offerings meet customer needs.
• Partner with system integrators, consultancies, and sovereign cloud providers to formulate partner enablement strategies.
• Minimum of 3 years in customer-facing technical positions where you both developed and advised, such as consulting data scientist, forward-deployed engineer, deployment strategist, or solutions architect.
• Proven experience in transitioning AI or data solutions from executive problem framing to production.
• Enthusiasm for Agentic AI and a practical understanding of the value delivered by LLMs in production environments.
• Strong foundation in ML fundamentals, including training, evaluation, and retrieval.
• Capability to design evaluation frameworks for customer pilots.
• Exceptional communication skills for presentations to CEOs and technical audiences.
• Ability to excel in ambiguous situations and establish impactful structures and processes.
• Proficiency in Python and Assistive Coding tools.
• Professional fluency in both English and German (C1 or higher, verhandlungssicher).
• Bonus: experience in the German market, particularly at a system integrator or consultancy, or involvement with RFPs and public tenders.
• Open to a range of experience levels from Associate to Staff-level Individual Contributors; 3+ years is the minimum requirement.
