Solutions Architect – AWS AI/ML, Data & Cloud Modernization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more locations.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions to identify customer requirements, infrastructure limitations, and modernization objectives.

• Act as the trusted technical expert in client discussions, clearly communicating architectural trade-offs related to AWS GenAI, data, and cloud migrations.

• Collaborate with Account Executives on AWS co-selling initiatives to assess technical compatibility, define use cases, and establish client trust.

• Create comprehensive Well-Architected AWS reference diagrams that encompass GenAI, modern data platforms, and agentic workflows.

• Establish cloud migration and database modernization strategies utilizing rehost, replatform, or refactor methodologies.

• Assess implementation risks, application sequencing, and adhere to security and compliance standards.

• Generate AWS cost estimates using the AWS Pricing Calculator and pinpoint optimization opportunities.

• Prepare technical scopes, implementation timelines, and delivery assumptions for Statements of Work (SOWs) and client proposals.

• Offer technical inputs for AWS funding initiatives in collaboration with Account Executives.

• Work alongside internal engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with delivery goals.

• Execute technical handoffs to delivery teams with well-documented architectures, migration assumptions, and risk logs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Cloud Architect position within a consulting setting.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, particularly in AI/ML (Bedrock, SageMaker), data platforms (Redshift, Glue), and migration services.

• Demonstrated capability to construct SOWs, compute AWS pricing models, and convey complex architectural decisions to executive stakeholders.

• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification is preferred.
