Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage and collaborate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions alongside assigned Agile teams.

• Work closely with domain leaders and enterprise architects to comprehend business drivers and capabilities, and to define solution designs.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to convey the value and trade-offs of various solution options.

• Take part in the creation of enterprise architecture standards and assess delivered solutions for quality and compliance.

• Participate in stakeholder interactions during Agile team ceremonies.

• Produce, enhance, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture for strategic initiatives.

• Research and identify potential impacts of existing, new, and emerging technologies and trends.

• Engage in governance activities.

• Assess and address domain-specific architecture challenges with subject matter experts.

• Support enterprise and solution architects with the design and management of dependent product architecture.

• Collaborate to utilize existing technology resources effectively.

• Comply with company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; escalate risk-related matters as necessary.

• Advocate for diversity and represent the Bank brand.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory actions without delay.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience, or a combined minimum of 9 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.

• Strong ability to work with and communicate among various stakeholders across different levels of the organization.

• Experience in software or service engineering and delivery.

• Capability to research and apply modern technology trends pertinent to technology initiatives.

• Ability to research, evaluate, and articulate various approaches to solving technical challenges.

• Experience in developing and integrating applications in accordance with relevant software architecture principles and patterns.

• A graduate degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

• Experience in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design is preferred.

• Experience in delivering technology and enterprise-level presentations is preferred.

• Familiarity with working in an Agile environment is preferred.

• Industry-recognized certification in programming languages and/or cloud technologies is preferred.

• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
