This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire new business and expand customer sales opportunities by engaging with Executive-level buyers and influencers.
• Concentrate on Workiva’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance suite within the Corporate Commercial team.
• Establish relationships and pinpoint Workiva products and solutions that align with customer requirements.
• Propel customer acquisition through new subscriptions, professional services, delivery, and training.
• Pursue sales opportunities in collaboration with Inside Sales, Solution Specialists, and Partnerships.
• Generate qualified leads.
• Perform needs assessments and provide engaging demonstrations of the Workiva platform.
• Address objections and resolve client issues with suitable solutions.
• Navigate sales processes to closure by showcasing Workiva’s value propositions.
• Regularly update customer relationship management systems.
• Deliver precise sales forecasts based on pipeline evaluations.
• Strategize and implement sales plans.
• Secure internal support for account pursuits.
• Prioritize sales activities and ensure timely follow-through.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of Workiva solutions through continuous training.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant role, selling to or consulting with Executive-level buyers in governance, risk, and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of experience and education in a related discipline.
• Knowledge of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
• Proficiency in demonstrating complex software applications.
• Strong business insight and ability to comprehend intricate business challenges.
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels.
• Capability to identify and leverage the influence of stakeholders versus buyers, navigating the nuances of the sales cycle.
• Ability to manage multiple complex sales processes concurrently.
• Skills in negotiating pricing while emphasizing value retention.
• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales quotas.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for team and corporate meetings.
• Reliable internet access for remote work.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
