Solution Marketing Manager – Materials Science Informatics

📋 Description

• Develop product positioning tailored to materials science customer use cases.

• Create marketing content, presentations, demos, and competitive positioning focused on materials science.

• Collaborate on events, webinars, and content that showcases thought leadership.

• Build essential and technical marketing content for customers, partners, and field teams.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance content production and personalization.

• Drive the strategy and execution aimed at expanding the materials science software market.

• Define the go-to-market strategy for Materials Science, including plans, timelines, and execution reporting.

• Integrate insights from the materials science market into comprehensive cross-company go-to-market initiatives.

• Partner with business planning teams to develop business models.

• Create new narratives and scenarios to engage target audiences and sales communities.

• Advocate for the integration of AI within product marketing workflows.

• Provide thought leadership and oversight for materials science-related projects.

• Engage with customers on case studies and analyses of return on investment (ROI).

• Establish relationships with materials science references and advocates.

• Lead internal training sessions focused on market positioning, solution capabilities, and customer workflows.

• Participate in materials science-focused sales deals to gather customer insights.

• Provide tools to Sales and Field Application Specialist teams while conducting training sessions.

• Support ad hoc content and requests from sales/FAS teams.

• Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape.

• Act as the market liaison for product management.

• Elevate awareness of market gaps, customer concerns, and competitive threats.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Materials Science or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in enterprise software, SaaS, technology, or consulting firms.

• Proven experience in software product marketing.

• Capability to position and market complex software/SaaS solutions to both technical and business audiences.

• Experience in the materials science market, preferably within Research & Development roles.

• Familiarity with Revvity products and their applications.

• Polished presentation skills with a strong executive presence.

• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to highly technical audiences.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience in a sales environment and interaction with customer teams is preferred.

• Willingness and enthusiasm to engage directly with customers globally.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when it is safe and acceptable.
