This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Take full ownership of customer outcomes from start to finish, covering discovery, modeling, implementation, performance optimization, production stability, and success evaluation.
• Create and deliver decision-making solutions utilizing ontologies, rules, graph analytics, optimization models, and predictive analytics.
• Define and develop platform capabilities when customer workflows encounter obstacles, and subsequently contribute generalized solutions to the broader system.
• Supply Product with reproductions, patterns, and specific failure scenarios to help shape the development roadmap.
• Perform technical discovery through workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Maintain documentation in the repository while creating reusable reference implementations.
• Diagnose root causes of failures to prevent the accumulation of technical shortcuts.
• Implement effective decision systems utilizing customers’ actual data within their Snowflake accounts.
• Over 5 years of experience in developing and delivering production software, including work within customer or partner environments.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership, from tackling ambiguous problem statements to successful production deployment.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and Redshift.
• Strong programming skills, primarily in Python.
• Familiarity with declarative or logic-based languages is a plus.
• Capability to read unfamiliar source code, analyze stack traces, and debug systems that were not personally developed.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both VP-level business stakeholders and data engineering staff.
• Comfortable working in environments characterized by high autonomy, rapid pace, and minimal instructions.
• Preferred experience with optimization techniques, constraint solving, rule engines, graph algorithms, machine learning on structured data, semantic modeling, data pipelines, governance, or enterprise technology/AI/analytics platforms.
