Solution Consultant – ULD Asset Tracking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical contact during the pre-sales phase for ULD Asset Tracking opportunities.

• Develop value-oriented solutions alongside the Sales team involving IoT loggers, gateways, and software.

• Create and present customized product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops.

• Engage in technical discussions with customers regarding coverage, location accuracy, data flows, integrations, and reporting.

• Set up and manage demo environments.

• Assist with proofs of concept and pilot projects.

• Convert customer needs into solution concepts.

• Aid in the creation of proposals, responses to RFPs, and technical documentation.

• Provide technical insights on pricing, scope, and risks during the sales process.

• Facilitate the transition from sold opportunities to live deployments.

• Oversee logger onboarding, gateway placement, and zone/site configurations.

• Diagnose early-stage connectivity, pairing, and data-quality challenges in collaboration with Engineering and IoT teams.

• Assist in training, enabling, and supporting warehouse operators, fleet managers, and technicians.

• Monitor initial post-go-live performance and help address any discrepancies.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to develop feasible, production-ready solutions.

• Keep abreast of air cargo/ULD regulations, industry trends, and competitor strategies.

• Communicate field feedback to influence product and engineering roadmaps.

• Represent SkyCell at customer meetings, pilot projects, and industry events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or implementation positions, preferably in air cargo, logistics, IoT, or asset tracking.

• Solid understanding of IoT hardware, gateway/network infrastructure, and data visibility platforms.

• Experience with rollout and implementation processes, including onboarding, configuration, and initial troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to manage multiple workflows across pre-sales and post-sales support.

• Willingness to travel for customer interactions and on-site implementations.

• Must reside in, or be capable of relocating to, one of the advertised locations without sponsorship.

• Must have authorization to work in the current country of residence without sponsorship.
