Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales and internal stakeholders to ensure technical success across targeted opportunities.

• Identify technical requirements through a consultative approach.

• Create example solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept to confirm requirements and showcase enterprise value.

• Engage with customers, prospects, and partners through phone, web, or in-person meetings using the pre-sales framework.

• Facilitate the discovery process and determine how Workiva solutions meet the needs of customers and prospects.

• Partner with Client Services to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and long-term customer satisfaction.

• Acquire knowledge about the industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can provide significant impact.

• Perform both generic and targeted solution demonstrations for Financial Reporting and Controls Essentials.

• Create new use cases or leverage existing templates to showcase solution impact and value.

• Conduct process assessments, develop proofs of concept, and present tailored business cases for customers.

• Provide cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to colleagues.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success teams.

• Support Sales in formulating account strategies.

• Manage Opportunity Technical Evaluations and secure confirmed technical wins.

• Advise customers on data connectivity, automated reporting workflows, and practical AI capabilities.

• Carry out solution discovery and value presentations across Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in pre-sales/solution consulting or management consulting (e.g., Big 4 or equivalent), with a focus on solution consulting, technical sales, or solution delivery.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven experience engaging with and delivering presentations to business or IT managers and executives.

• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Self-driven with a strong inclination towards action, results, and ongoing improvement.

• Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures is preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions.

• Capability to deliver value-based, persuasive software demonstrations.

• Knowledge or practical experience with emerging AI capabilities, including automated data curation, intelligent document processing, predictive insights, or AI-assisted reporting workflows.

• Understanding of enterprise data structures, API integrations, or cross-domain platform solutions, including Finance, GRC, or Sustainability/ESG frameworks like CSRD.
