This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and take ownership of the architectural framework for the Enterprise Scheduling solution, encompassing functional design, data structures, constraint models, integrations, and system behavior.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure alignment of the end-to-end solution architecture.
• Act as the primary solution architect for implementations focused solely on Enterprise Scheduling.
• Conduct detailed scheduling blueprint sessions to facilitate project objectives.
• Convert manufacturing requirements into scalable configurations effectively.
• Establish heuristics, dispatch rules, look-ahead behavior, changeover logic, and strategies for constraint resolution.
• Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies accordingly.
• Diagnose complex scheduling behaviors and resolve issues related to data configuration.
• Offer root-cause analysis and suggest effective configuration patterns.
• Provide functional leadership along with implementation support.
• Guide consultants and partners on solution quality, scheduling implementation techniques, architectural patterns, and best practices for deployment.
• Oversee the delegation of configuration tasks among team members.
• Work closely with Product teams to address feature gaps, extend capabilities, and provide architectural guidance.
• Influence roadmap discussions by sharing customer insights and best practices for solutions.
• Assist in sales opportunities for services by effectively communicating solution approaches and their value to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of extensive experience in software implementation consulting within the supply chain planning or execution domains.
• A minimum of 3 years in a role as a solution architect or lead functional consultant for large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional facilitation and communication abilities.
• Capability to guide discussions among planners, schedulers, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
• Strong initiative paired with leadership capabilities.
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proven interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and mentoring abilities within cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in supply chain concepts and best practices.
• Extensive experience with supply chain solutions and scheduling applications such as OMP, SAP PPDS, Blue Yonder, or o9 Production Scheduling.
• Experience in creating detailed blueprints that translate scheduling requirements into technical specifications.
• Technical leadership experience in data integration, management, system configuration, and deployment for supply chain software implementations.
• Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, or other scripting languages used for solution configuration.
• Willingness and ability to travel between 50% to 75% annually.
