This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with clients to discuss optimal practices and strategies for contemporary data and analytics.
• Combine various data sources to create models and reports tailored for business users.
• Set up and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing Azure.
• Provide expert guidance to clients regarding Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and future roadmap.
• Keep abreast of Microsoft technologies and the latest best practices in the modern data platform.
• Design, construct, and implement comprehensive data and analytics solutions for enterprise-level clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented consulting setting.
• Experience in data engineering within Azure and knowledge of modern data platform technologies such as Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and modeling.
• Capability to design a complete data analytics solution architecture and oversee its execution.
• Profound understanding of Agile engineering methodologies.
• Expertise in data warehousing.
• Proficient in data ETL/ELT processes.
• Skilled in data modeling, specifically Dimensional and Kimball methodologies.
• Proficient in T-SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or substantial SSIS experience.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Store.
• Knowledge of SQL Server/Azure SQL.
• Experience with Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Tabular.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery practices.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to adapt to diverse client cultures and project requirements.
• Ability to positively embrace change.
