Solution Architect

📋 Description

• Develop forward-thinking data strategies that align with client business goals and industry best practices.

• Design and manage the implementation of large-scale lakehouse and warehouse solutions using Databricks and other cloud-native technologies.

• Create integrations for on-premises and various cloud environments.

• Architect batch and streaming ingestion, real-time processing, and ELT/ETL methodologies.

• Ensure security, privacy, compliance, and data quality at a large scale.

• Address complex data engineering challenges and make strategic decisions to mitigate delivery risks.

• Introduce innovative technologies and methodologies.

• Enhance performance, optimize costs, ensure scalability, and improve maintainability.

• Mentor engineers, evaluate architectures and code, and support implementation teams.

• Lead technical explorations, define solution architectures, respond to RFPs, and present demos and proofs of concept.

• Develop technical blueprints and suggest tools, frameworks, and design patterns.

• Collaborate with sales and account teams to define project scopes and formulate technical proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics architecture, governance, and cloud, including extensive cloud deployments.

• More than 4 years in a client-facing position within a professional services firm, involved in scoping, designing architecture, and participating in presales activities.

• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing contemporary data lakehouses, warehouses, and pipelines in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• In-depth knowledge of Databricks and Spark (mandatory).

• Experience in developing proofs of concept, technical presales presentations, and pricing strategies for engagements.

• Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, MacOS, Slack, and Atlassian.
