Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage and collaborate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of technology solutions with assigned Agile teams.

• Work alongside domain leadership and enterprise architects to comprehend business drivers and capabilities, determining suitable solution designs.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to articulate the value and trade-offs associated with various solution options.

• Contribute to the creation of enterprise architecture standards and assess delivered solutions for quality and compliance.

• Partner with stakeholders during Agile team ceremonies.

• Develop, enhance, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture for strategic initiatives.

• Investigate and identify the impacts of existing, new, and emerging technologies and trends.

• Take part in governance activities.

• Assess and resolve domain-specific architecture challenges in collaboration with subject matter experts.

• Support enterprise and solution architects in designing dependent product architecture.

• Leverage existing technology resources through effective collaboration.

• Comply with company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; identify and escalate issues as necessary.

• Foster diversity and embody the Bank brand.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant work experience, or alternatively, a combined minimum of 9 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.

• Capability to work and communicate effectively with various stakeholders across different levels of the organization.

• Experience in software or service engineering and delivery.

• Ability to research and apply contemporary technology trends pertinent to technology initiatives.

• Skill in researching, evaluating, and articulating multiple strategies for addressing technical challenges.

• Experience in developing and integrating applications following relevant software architecture principles and patterns.

• Graduate degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

• Experience in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design is preferred.

• Experience in delivering technology and enterprise-level presentations is preferred.

• Experience in an Agile environment is preferred.

• Industry-recognized certification in programming languages and/or cloud technologies is preferred.

• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
