This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Engage in a diverse range of software consulting projects, collaborating with and for clients.

• Shape automation strategies for substantial enterprise clients.

• Develop new applications tailored for mortgage and various other sectors.

• Redesign and enhance platforms for cloud technology integration.

• Implement Lean and Agile methodologies.

• Address mission-critical challenges effectively.

• Drive projects to successful completion.

• Deliver customer-facing consulting services and presentations.

• Proficiency in diagnosing issues with Compile, Assembly, and LinkEdit processes for z/OS.

• Proven experience in developing mainframe applications using COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, Java, and EZT for z/OS.

• Familiarity with IBM CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, Liberty, and z/OS Connect.

• Knowledge of z/OS source control platforms and processes, including Panvalet, Endevor, and SCLM.

• Understanding of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing solutions, such as zLinux, zCX, Db2, and IDAA.

• Awareness of IBM Dependency Based Build and its components, including Groovy or YAML.

• Experience with the z/OS USS environment.

• Proficient in using an IDE for mainframe development, like IBM IDz, BMC Compuware Topaz, or VSCode.

• Familiarity with Git-based source control platforms.

• Experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy.

• Knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform.

• Experience with additional open-source tools is advantageous.

• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and best practices.

• A BA or BS degree or equivalent is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Current knowledge of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing solutions, including zLinux, zCX, and IDAA.

• Knowledge of DB2 DBA support for software development.

• IBM Certified Specialist - IBM zSeries Technical Version 1 and related industry certifications are preferred.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.

• Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
