Solicitor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage case files from the initial instructions through to final resolution.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and risk management procedures.

• Offer prompt, accessible, and empathetic legal support to drivers.

• Simplify complex legal jargon into understandable advice for clients.

• Prepare pleadings, witness statements, letters of claim, and hearing bundles.

• Negotiate recoveries and settlements on behalf of drivers.

• Prepare and work closely with counsel for hearings.

• Utilize case management systems to monitor deadlines and tasks.

• Ensure SRA compliance is maintained across all files.

• Share expertise, engage in professional development, and mentor colleagues as the practice grows.

• Handle a diverse caseload in personal injury, credit hire, and recoveries within small claims and fast-track proceedings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a current practicing certificate in England and Wales.

• Approximately 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).

• Experience in claimant work related to personal injury, credit hire, or recovery in motor claims.

• Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, pre-action protocols, and court procedures.

• Strong organizational skills for managing a high-volume caseload and meeting tight deadlines.

• Excellent active listening and negotiation abilities.

• Practical understanding of commercial matters and risk assessment.

• Experience with Proclaim is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Alternative Business Structures (ABS) is a plus.

• Eligibility to work in the UK; the employer cannot provide visa sponsorship.
