Legal Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the establishment and governance requirements of general partners and their funds globally.

• Collaborate with legal partners to draft fund formation and governance agreements.

• Utilize the company's SaaS platform tailored for venture capital firms.

• Take responsibility for managing fund client accounts and nurturing relationships.

• Support fund-related documentation and operational activities from inception through governance and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal or fund operations, carrying out legal tasks.

• Proven experience performing legal work under the supervision of an attorney.

• Background as a paralegal along with experience in legal or fund operations.

• Strong professional demeanor in phone and video conferencing settings.

• High level of digital literacy with a quick aptitude for learning new software.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Poise in high-pressure situations.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• High emotional intelligence and intuition.

• Proactive mindset.

• Capability to devise logical solutions for complex challenges.

• Detail-oriented and analytical, especially in relation to legal agreements.

• Preferably possesses knowledge and experience in venture capital.

• Preferably 2+ years of experience in venture capital.

• Experience in startups or incubators is preferred.

• Familiarity with startup financing is preferred.

• Multilingual abilities are preferred.

• Experience in SaaS is preferred.
