Contract Attorney – Paid Legal Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of the Rocket Lawyer Attorney Network as an independent Contract Attorney.

• Provide legal services to verified Rocket Lawyer members within your licensed jurisdiction(s).

• Offer legal information consultations through phone or video and engage in advisory work.

• Review and draft legal documents as well as analyze contracts.

• Manage business formation, estate planning, consumer law, and a variety of general legal matters.

• Respond to written inquiries and provide informational consultations, converting engagements into paid work.

• Concentrate on legal tasks while Rocket Lawyer takes care of client intake, administrative setup, invoicing, billing, and payment collection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active license to practice law in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• No history of disciplinary actions.

• Strong practical problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal communication skills for consultations via phone and/or video conference.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Maintain professional liability insurance for lawyers in accordance with the Terms of Service.

• Proficient with technology and able to quickly learn and utilize Rocket Lawyer’s tools.

• Customer-centric approach and commitment to customer satisfaction and success.

• Experience in one or more areas: Landlord/Tenant, Employment Law, Corporate Law, Contracts & Business Transactions, Real Estate Law, Family Law, or Finance.
