Software/Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Create and develop functional software programs and applications

• Work collaboratively with project management, colleagues, and clients to determine end-user requirements and specifications

• Convert client specifications into application functionalities

• Design algorithms and flowcharts for new software applications and systems

• Produce high-quality and efficient code based on the outlined requirements

• Test and implement software programs and applications

• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing software solutions

• Gather and evaluate user feedback to optimize software performance

• Suggest enhancements to current software products

• Create technical documentation for upcoming software development initiatives

• Engage with clients to comprehend their requirements and design prototypes as needed

• Provide expert cost engineering services as part of project teams

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience is required

• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#

• Fundamental understanding of databases and SQL

• 0–2 years of experience in a related field

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is preferred

• Experience working in team environments

• Actively pursuing one or more relevant professional certifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, along with a willingness to learn

• Capable of working remotely and independently when necessary
