This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the global sales strategy for Hygiena's software solutions.
• Propel revenue growth within the SaaS portfolio.
• Discover software adoption prospects among both existing and new clients.
• Lead a high-performing team to meet business goals.
• Retain, expand, and cross-sell to enterprise accounts.
• Take ownership of commercial sales performance for Suretrend Cloud and Kleanz Software.
• Identify SaaS opportunities and referrals throughout the sales organization.
• Articulate the software value proposition and assist with introductory customer calls.
• Visit clients to uncover SaaS opportunities and lead closed-won software sales as necessary.
• Forge relationships with current and prospective accounts.
• Collaborate with customers using a strategic and consultative approach to comprehend their needs and priorities.
• Provide market insights to SaaS Product Managers to enhance offered solutions.
• Work with Marketing on platform enhancements and SaaS releases.
• Cooperate with SaaS product managers and developers on documentation and troubleshooting details.
• Prepare website documentation and disseminate internal troubleshooting information for customer-site bugs and issues.
• Offer documentation or web links to address customer concerns.
• Escalate Level 1 and Level 2 issues to customer service or account management teams.
• Over 10 years of B2B software sales experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading teams in SaaS.
• Preference for experience in life sciences, food diagnostics, or quality management systems.
• Experience in selling enterprise or B2B software solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving multi-million-dollar Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
• Experience leading digital transformation discussions with enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles.
• Strong knowledge of food safety testing operations, including pathogen detection, allergen screening, and environmental monitoring.
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA, ISO/IEC 17025, and GFSI regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of SaaS architectures, ERP/LIMS/API data integration, and analytics dashboards.
• Experience in building strategic partnerships with diagnostic technology providers, contract labs, and food manufacturers.
• Exceptional communication and consultative selling skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in a related field is required.
• Relevant degree in Business, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Engineering.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Experience in leading or mentoring sales teams.
• Strong customer-facing and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of website development or WordPress is an advantage.
• Experience with SaaS solutions in food safety, laboratory/testing environments, compliance, or quality management systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with software implementations and customer onboarding.
• Capability to manage tasks/projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent follow-up, listening, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Technical troubleshooting expertise.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in writing for customer responses and help documentation/videos.
• Customer-centric mindset, with discretion and independent judgment.
