Software Quality Testing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of software products to ensure compliance with business standards and functional requirements.

• Identify, replicate, and monitor defects throughout the software lifecycle.

• Confirm the effectiveness of software fixes.

• Create test data and establish testing procedures.

• Guarantee that software products align with organizational standards and fulfill end-user needs.

• Implement software development life cycle practices and quality assurance methodologies.

• Make informed decisions regarding work methods in situations that may lack clarity.

• Report directly to the Director of Network Operations.

• Assist Humana in securing and transitioning into new business opportunities.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of technical experience.

• Proven experience in developing test data and procedures to ensure software products meet organizational standards and user requirements.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Eligibility for a government security clearance through the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).

• A Master's Degree is preferred.

• At least one year of experience with Tricare Contracts is preferred.

• A minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
