
Software Engineering Manager – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide and oversee a small team of full-stack engineers, managing daily tasks, establishing technical direction, and fostering growth through mentorship and constructive feedback.
• Sustain and improve a secure, scalable e-signature platform developed on .NET.
• Collaborate with UI designers and product owners to implement features, enhancements, and resolve front-end defects using Angular.
• Take responsibility for platform reliability and health, including monitoring, alerting, performance optimization, root-cause analysis, and uptime enhancements.
• Ensure security, integrity, and auditability, which encompasses document integrity, audit trails, authentication, and relevant standards.
• Manage and improve the platform on Microsoft Azure.
• Work alongside Product and IT teams to plan, coordinate, and schedule deployments and releases.
• Organize incident response and provide on-call support for issues affecting customers.
• Leverage AI-enabled development tools to enhance discovery, implementation, testing, documentation, and delivery processes.
• Identify technical needs, prioritize maintenance and enhancements, and engage in design and code reviews.
• Conduct testing, refactoring, usability enhancements, automation, documentation, maintenance, and ongoing support.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in developing and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• At least 6 years of experience with .NET Framework, .NET Standard, or .NET Core.
• Over 3 years of experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficient in building reusable Angular components, managing front-end state, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience in leading or managing a small engineering team, including mentoring and task delegation.
• Familiarity with coordinating deployments and releases alongside IT and operations teams.
• Proven experience in maintaining and enhancing an established production SaaS platform.
• Strong understanding of application security; experience with e-signature, document integrity, audit trails, or compliance concepts is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of DRY, SOLID, and KISS principles.
• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including deploying, operating, and monitoring cloud workloads.
• Skills in auditing application logs, telemetry, dependency calls, and storage growth patterns.
• Background in high-growth Agile SaaS engineering environments.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools and prompt/context engineering.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to articulate and justify technical decisions while applying common design patterns.
