Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure Security Engineering – DGX Cloud

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a distributed team of senior security and infrastructure engineers.

• Take charge of hiring, professional growth, and performance evaluation.

• Collaborate with engineers to develop the roadmap for the security control plane, foundational security services, and autonomous security operations.

• Conduct streamlined planning aimed at achieving measurable outcomes and fostering continuous improvement.

• Assemble teams of appropriate size with clearly defined accountable owners.

• Elevate engineering standards for tested code, observability, operational readiness, documentation, and human stewardship of AI-assisted tasks.

• Convert complex and rapidly evolving risks into actionable insights for executives.

• Forge partnerships across the DGX Cloud platform, SRE, networking, and NVIDIA security teams.

• Mitigate security risks across a vast GPU fleet consisting of hundreds of thousands of units.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in managing engineering teams.

• More than 14 years of comprehensive experience in software engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or security.

• Proficient hands-on experience in infrastructure, distributed systems, or security engineering.

• Proven ability to attract, hire, and nurture top-tier engineering talent.

• Experience in establishing consistent and equitable interview and calibration processes.

• Skill in transforming high-stakes, loosely articulated requirements into structured, measurable outcomes.

• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.

• Knowledge of identity and access management, policy enforcement, and vulnerability mitigation.

• Experience in delivering results through partner teams without direct authority.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
