Engineering Manager, Supply Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Supply Operations engineering team at Lime

• Guide and nurture a diverse group of mobile and backend engineers, including senior technical leaders

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, Security, and other engineering teams to establish strategy and drive the creation and execution of the roadmap

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of intricate initiatives across mobile, backend, and web systems

• Engage in technical design and promote engineering quality, reliability, and operational excellence

• Cultivate and empower technical leaders, defining clear ownership and enhancing the overall leverage of the team

• Assess team impact, establish clear expectations and goals, and work with leadership on staffing and organizational priorities

• Create products and technology that enable global operations teams and logistics partners to efficiently manage, maintain, and operate Lime’s fleet

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial experience in technical leadership and people management

• Proven experience in managing and developing teams of senior engineers and technical leads

• Strong technical expertise in mobile, backend, or full-stack product engineering

• Recorded experience in leading complex products or projects from start to finish across multiple technical domains

• Strong history of collaboration with cross-functional partners and influencing strategy in uncertain environments

• Proven experience in recruiting, coaching, and managing technical teams, including performance management

• Experience in leading teams that encompass mobile and backend engineering

• Familiarity with Android/iOS development and mobile release processes

• Experience in building internal tools, operational platforms, logistics, or workforce products

• Experience in leading globally distributed engineering teams

• Knowledge of mobile security, authentication, or device integrity

• Must be able to reside and work remotely from Canada

• Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation
