This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and guide a small team of full-stack engineers, managing daily operations, establishing technical direction, and fostering growth through mentorship and constructive feedback.
• Enhance and maintain a secure, scalable e-signature platform developed on the .NET framework.
• Develop features based on Angular, implement enhancements, and troubleshoot front-end defects in collaboration with UI designers and product owners.
• Ensure platform reliability and health by monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, conducting root-cause analysis, and improving uptime.
• Maintain document integrity, audit trails, authentication, security measures, and compliance standards.
• Manage and optimize the platform on Azure, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, resilience, and observability.
• Facilitate deployments and releases in collaboration with Product, IT, and operations teams.
• Engage in incident response and provide on-call support for issues impacting customers.
• Leverage AI-enabled development tools to enhance discovery, implementation, testing, documentation, and delivery processes.
• Determine technical requirements, prioritize maintenance and enhancements, and take part in solution and code reviews.
• Conduct performance tuning, testing, refactoring, usability enhancements, automation, documentation, and continuous technical support.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in developing and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• At least 6 years of experience with the .NET Framework, .NET Standard, or .NET Core.
• Over 3 years of experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience in building reusable Angular components, managing front-end state, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience in leading or managing a small engineering team, including mentoring and delegating tasks.
• Background in coordinating deployments and releases with IT and operations teams.
• Experience in maintaining and improving an established production SaaS platform.
• Understanding of application security and familiarity with e-signature, document integrity, audit trails, or compliance principles.
• Knowledge of DRY, SOLID, and KISS principles.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, as well as non-relational databases.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including the deployment, operation, and monitoring of cloud workloads.
• Proficiency in auditing application logs, telemetry, dependency calls, and storage growth patterns.
• Experience in high-growth Agile SaaS engineering environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and prompt/context engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to articulate and justify technical concepts and implement common design patterns.
