This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.
β’ Take ownership of the Testimonials platform, focusing on architecture, code quality, infrastructure, and production reliability.
β’ Oversee and improve Kubernetes-based deployments, ensuring observability, scalability, and efficient release processes.
β’ Make and document crucial architectural decisions.
β’ Keep operational and technical documentation up to date.
β’ Facilitate platform growth in response to increasing customer demand.
β’ Guide the daily execution of the product roadmap.
β’ Collaborate with the Product team on roadmap planning and technical trade-offs.
β’ Set engineering standards through code and design reviews.
β’ Mentor engineers and coordinate contractor resources as necessary.
β’ Lead engineering initiatives to support SOC 2 readiness.
β’ Implement secure development practices, change control, and access management protocols.
β’ Work with Security and Compliance teams to enhance platform controls.
β’ Deliver enterprise features, dashboards, and enhancements requested by customers.
β’ Support platform integrations and modernization projects.
β’ Promote the use of AI-assisted development tools and automated engineering workflows.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience.
β’ Proven experience managing a production SaaS platform.
β’ Strong hands-on proficiency with Go, React, Kubernetes, and AWS architecture.
β’ Demonstrated ability to support, troubleshoot, and scale production systems.
β’ Experience leading a small engineering team or managing a technical workstream.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
β’ Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
β’ Interest in AI-assisted software development methodologies.
β’ Experience with MySQL and REST APIs.
β’ Background in SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
β’ Familiarity with regulated industries, such as financial services or insurance.
β’ Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tools.
β’ Proven track record supporting enterprise customers and delivering tailored solutions.
β’ Knowledge of AI-enabled improvements in the software development life cycle.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
