Software Engineering Intern – Summer 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with developers to design player-centric features for live games like League, TFT, and VALORANT.

• Develop back-end services that facilitate shared social, client, and platform functionalities.

• Write code to handle real-time data processing for game teams.

• Gain experience in managing services on a global scale for millions of players.

• Create and sustain SDKs and APIs utilized by internal game customers.

• Be matched with a software engineering product and team based on your interests, skills, and availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expected to graduate in the 2028 calendar year.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology-related field.

• Experience in coding with an object-oriented programming language, such as Java, C++, or C#.

• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Minimum GPA requirement of 2.5.

• Availability to work full-time during the 12-week internship period.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.

• This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.

• Preferred: Experience as a software developer, including internships or part-time roles.

• Preferred: Familiarity with the software development life cycle and agile development methodologies.

• Preferred: Knowledge of unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

• Preferred: A portfolio or website link showcasing original work and/or projects.

• Preferred: Experience working on a video game or related project, especially in Unity or Unreal Engine.
