Software Engineer – Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a robust testing infrastructure for automated regression testing of data science microservices.

• Diagnose and resolve automation challenges across various environments.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and stability of automated test suites.

• Create and implement comprehensive testing strategies and impactful test cases.

• Evaluate product requirements to ensure alignment with design and quality standards.

• Perform end-to-end system testing and post-deployment validation alongside software and test engineers.

• Identify, document, isolate, and verify fixes for product defects.

• Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a developer, SDET, or QA automation position.

• More than 3 years of coding experience in Python is preferred; knowledge of Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript is an advantage.

• Proficient in testing APIs and databases.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks, ideally Pytest.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, New Relic, or similar applications.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.

• Capability to write and analyze SQL queries.

• Experience with cloud solutions like AWS.

• Proficient in using GitHub, JIRA, and Postman.

• Background in writing clean, stable, and maintainable code.

• Strong grasp of testing methodologies and automated testing techniques.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid release cycles.

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; this position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.
