Semi Senior QA Analyst – Automation, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to design positive, negative, and boundary test cases.

• Execute functional tests on the web application and validate its APIs.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) tests for critical flows.

• Maintain and expand the regression suite prior to each release.

• Investigate failures using DevTools, console, Network, logs, and database queries.

• Report clear and reproducible bugs with evidence alongside development and product teams.

• Validate fixes and hotfixes before production deployment.

• Collaborate in the review of pull requests from a quality, coverage, and risk perspective.

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Suggest improvements in processes, tools, and quality metrics.

• Explore the use of AI to generate test cases, maintain tests, analyze errors, identify risks, and reduce repetitive tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in QA for web products, or equivalent experience that can be demonstrated.

• Experience combining functional testing and automation.

• Real-world practice in developing or maintaining automated E2E tests.

• Experience testing APIs and validating responses.

• Ability to design test cases and prioritize based on risk and impact.

• Skill in investigating issues before reporting them.

• Autonomy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

• Clear and direct communication with development and product teams.

• Technical reading proficiency in English.

• E2E test automation using Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Design and maintenance of automated test suites.

• Testing of REST/GraphQL APIs with Postman or other tools.

• Proficiency in Git and understanding of workflows with pull requests.

• Basic reading knowledge of TypeScript code.

• Data validation through database queries, ideally MongoDB.

• Use of DevTools to investigate errors and distinguish between frontend, backend, or data issues.

• Initiative to experiment, learn, and critically evaluate AI tools applied to QA.

• Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, MongoDB, SQL databases, CI/CD, microservices, asynchronous messaging, Kibana, Grafana, k6, JMeter, Zoho, ISTQB certification, and AI tools for testing is a plus.
