📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain full-stack functionalities across our ophthalmology platform — including backend services and APIs using .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 10) and responsive front-end interfaces in HTML/CSS.

• Implement AI-native and agentic development workflows (such as Cursor multi-agent pipelines for decomposition, architecture, implementation, QA, and review) to enhance speed while ensuring code remains clean and dependable.

• Create and integrate AI-driven functionalities — including third-party LLM integrations — that seamlessly fit into clinical software.

• Diagnose and enhance distributed systems.

• Set up and engage in code review processes.

• Operate within an agile framework, actively contributing to: Sprint planning, Daily standups, and Retrospectives.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code, while also participating in code reviews.

• Collaborate across product, clinical, and engineering teams.

• Influence architectural decisions, particularly regarding the integration of AI into our systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7 years of professional software development experience with a robust focus on full-stack delivery.

• Strong, up-to-date experience with .NET/C# (.NET Core and/or .NET 10).

• Expertise in creating responsive user interfaces using HTML/CSS.

• Proven proficiency with AI-supported and agentic development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot), with a preference for experience in multi-agent development workflows.

• Experience in integrating LLM APIs into actual, deployed systems (it doesn’t need to dominate your career, but you should have done it and understand the associated trade-offs).

• A solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, API design, and distributed system architecture.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Understanding of model limitations, evaluation trade-offs, and the practical aspects of running AI in production.

🏝️ Benefits

• Opportunities for professional development.

• Ownership of significant initiatives and a voice in architectural decisions.

• A pivotal role in building essential software relied upon by eye care practices daily.

• The opportunity to work AI-native — both delivering AI-driven features and utilizing advanced agentic development tools as part of our development process.

• A collaborative team at an exciting turning point.
