Software Engineer – Mid-Level/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop applications, APIs, integrations, data workflows, and internal tools to enhance healthcare operations.

• Oversee features from initial problem identification through to implementation, testing, release, and subsequent improvements.

• Utilize Ruby on Rails, Python, Node.js, and PostgreSQL in a database-centric environment.

• Enhance performance, data quality, reliability, and visibility in production.

• Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and business stakeholders.

• Make practical trade-offs to deliver valuable software.

• Employ AI coding tools with a strong emphasis on review, testing, and accountability.

• At the senior level, spearhead larger technical initiatives and influence architectural decisions.

• Contribute to elevating engineering standards while maintaining hands-on involvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Production experience in Ruby on Rails or Python.

• Capability to learn and operate across the entire stack.

• Proficient in SQL and practical experience with PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of data structures, API design, testing, debugging, and system performance.

• Proven experience in delivering web applications or full-stack features.

• Knowledge of how the user interface, services, and database interconnect.

• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Strong communication skills, curiosity, and adaptability to changing requirements.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and the judgment to evaluate its outputs.
