Software Engineer – Mercury Command

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Deliver new features that resonate with users

• Assist in designing and launching innovative Command skills

• Collaborate with product and compliance teams to establish accuracy for each new feature

• Develop tests to ensure the correct functionality of new features

• Work alongside a small team of product and AI engineers

• Enhance Mercury Command, expand its functionalities, and utilize LLMs to enrich the banking experience

• Operate effectively amidst uncertainty and changing priorities in a dynamic startup environment

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in backend or full-stack development

• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux

• Experience in developing products powered by LLMs

• Proven track record of building and launching new products

• A product-focused mindset

• Capacity to understand user needs and translate them into product features

• Skill in weighing tradeoffs and devising innovative solutions

• Regular use of AI tools in daily operations

• Enthusiasm for using AI to speed up development, enhance code quality, or tackle complex challenges
