Software Engineer, Java, SDD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Backend development using Java 21 or higher

• Design and development of APIs with an API First approach

• Implementation of hexagonal architecture and microservices

• Execution of event-driven architectures and messaging systems

• Management of queues, partitioning, consumption, and retries

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

• Query optimization and data modeling

• Proficient in OpenShift/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines

• Monitoring and observability using Grafana and Dynatrace

• Creation and execution of unit and integration tests

• Application of AI throughout the product lifecycle

• Utilization of the Spec Driven Development methodology

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development

• Java 21 or higher

• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Data

• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture and microservices architecture

• Background in designing APIs with an API First approach (OpenAPI / Swagger)

• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, Domain Driven Design (DDD), and TDD

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and messaging systems like ActiveMQ

• Experience with event-driven architectures and management of queues, partitioning, consumption, and retries

• Relational databases (MariaDB or others) and NoSQL (MongoDB)

• Skills in query optimization, indexing, scalar functions, tuning, and data modeling

• Proficient in OpenShift / Kubernetes

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

• Knowledge of GitHub and Spinnaker

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools: Grafana and Dynatrace

• Experience with unit testing and integration testing

• Technical application of AI in development

• Use of AI throughout the entire product lifecycle

• Familiarity with the Spec Driven Development (SDD) methodology
