Software Engineer, Java, C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain applications utilizing Java and C++.

• Develop and enhance SQL queries for Sybase or MS SQL Server.

• Assist in debugging, optimizing performance, and enhancing applications.

• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for feature implementation.

• Engage in code reviews and adhere to coding standards.

• Update and maintain legacy components and related documentation.

• Adjust and read small Python/Perl scripts as needed.

• Design, develop, and ensure high-performance, scalable software solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Java development.

• At least 1 year of experience in C++.

• Strong command of SQL, particularly with Sybase and MS SQL.

• Good knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot and STL.

• Experience in writing SQL queries and performing basic query optimization.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.

• Familiarity with multithreading concepts.

• Proficient in Git and build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or CMake.

• Experience working in Linux or Unix environments.

• Capability to read and modify small Python/Perl scripts when necessary.

• Experience with Python/Perl scripting and Sybase is a plus.

• Must be able to work remotely from India.
