Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, implement, unit test, and conduct quality engineering for high-caliber software solutions

• Develop and provide support for a new web application stack

• Utilize and enhance LLM-codegen processes to ensure a balance between agility and quality

• Create and utilize agent-driven AI architectures

• Collaborate closely with customers and tailor tools to meet their specific needs

• Design psychometrics and data science-oriented tools using R

• Operate, enhance, and develop cloud-based solutions within AWS

• Create and maintain code adhering to best practices for maintainability, performance, security, and verifiability

• Rapidly acquire new processes, tools, and business knowledge

• Partner with engineering leadership to deliver timely and robust software while adhering to best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technology field, or equivalent practical training

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and areas, including R, data science, and agentic AI cloud applications

• 3-5 years of pertinent full-stack software development experience

• Proficiency in developing, maintaining, and testing software according to industry best practices

• Experience with cloud-based web applications that are highly available and concurrent

• Familiarity with working in an Agile environment

• Aspiration to broaden knowledge across various development languages, applications, and tools

• Capability to think both technically and analytically

• Understanding of architectural philosophy

• Ability to absorb information, synthesize knowledge, apply experience, and offer alternative solutions and recommendations

• Strong time management abilities, including effective performance under pressure, planning, prioritization, adaptability, and meeting deadlines

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills

• Proven track record of thriving and collaborating within a team

• A background in statistics is beneficial but not mandatory
