Software Engineer II – Rust

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy robust services and libraries in Rust and C++ that drive trading, payments, and cryptocurrency experiences.

• Develop reusable, testable, and highly efficient code essential for revenue-generating systems.

• Participate in the architecture of large-scale distributed systems.

• Convert changing product requirements into resilient and low-latency solutions.

• Collaborate with seasoned Rust and C++ engineers within a global, agile engineering team.

• Build backend services including matching engines, market data gateways, internal and external APIs, and other trading functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proven experience in developing products focused on financial trading.

• Skilled in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.

• Familiarity with modern C++, particularly in performance-sensitive and low-latency environments.

• A security-first approach during the design of systems.

• Capability to independently troubleshoot issues across the operating system, network, and application stack.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and associated technologies, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.

• Ability to work collaboratively with product teams to collect requirements and constraints.

• Willingness to take complete ownership of systems and libraries from start to finish.
