Software Engineer II – Mobile Developer, Android/Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy features and fixes for the Android SDK.

• Contribute to the iOS, React Native, Expo, and Flutter SDKs as priorities dictate.

• Assist with backend services, infrastructure, and embedded web UI for in-app messaging, universal linking, geofencing, and mobile inbox.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues reported by customers regarding the SDK.

• Write clean, well-tested code and engage in code and design reviews.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure consistent tracking and messaging behavior across various platforms.

• Contribute to the creation of documentation, sample applications, and integration guides.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Android development, preferably including Kotlin.

• Experience in shipping and maintaining production-level Android code.

• Strong understanding of the Android lifecycle, threading, and Gradle.

• Experience in debugging across various devices, OS versions, and third-party app environments.

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and instrumentation testing.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes for mobile applications.

• Comfortable working with webviews and location services.

• Willingness to learn about iOS, backend, or frontend development.

• Ability to communicate clearly with both customers' engineering teams and internal teams.

• Bonus: experience in building or maintaining an SDK/library.
