Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain features for serverless web applications across the entire stack.

• Assume responsibility for implementation plans related to moderately complex tasks.

• Provide scalable and maintainable solutions that contribute to the overall success of the platform.

• Write clean, testable, and efficient code that is optimized for performance and observability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, enhancing system reliability and scalability.

• Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to colleagues.

• Mentor junior engineers on designated topics.

• Engage in DevOps processes, including CI/CD workflows, containerization, and observability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure features align with customer needs and business objectives.

• Acquire new skills and integrate industry best practices.

• Leverage serverless technologies to ensure instant scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent level of practical experience.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining software applications with an emphasis on scalability and maintainability.

• Strong programming capabilities in Python, JavaScript, or comparable languages.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as Django and React.

• Practical experience with APIs, databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), and frontend development.

• Understanding of development in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP).

• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, including containerization, CI/CD workflows, and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana).

• Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to learning and mentoring.

• Capability to identify gaps in requirements, ask clarifying questions, and deliver features that meet business objectives.
