Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for Automated Tank Gauge and associated platforms.

• Leverage knowledge of modern technology stacks and frameworks to determine their appropriate applications.

• Assist the team in adapting to new technologies.

• Utilize Agile methodology experience to enhance team operations.

• Work collaboratively with peers, electrical and mechanical development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders.

• Guide junior engineers in best practices for design and coding.

• Share technical expertise regarding contemporary technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages.

• Experience with C++ or Java is preferred.

• Previous project leadership experience is advantageous.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing technologies is beneficial.

• Experience with REST APIs and JSON is a plus.

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure and their associated services is valuable.

• Experience with Agile methodologies is required.

• Ability to work collaboratively with electrical and mechanical development teams and quality assurance.
