Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and dependable backend services and APIs.

• Create and sustain responsive and user-friendly frontend applications.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and execute new features.

• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

• Engage in code reviews.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across the entire stack.

• Enhance development processes and tools.

• Stay updated with technologies and industry trends.

• Proactively identify and address technical challenges.

• Contribute to significant technical decisions and foster engineering culture.

• Work with AI-driven cybersecurity technologies and Google SecOps solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Go, Python, or a comparable alternative.

• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework like Next.js, TypeScript, React, Vue.js, or a similar option.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• 3–5 years of technical, IT, and/or cybersecurity experience as requested in the application form.

• GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Data Engineer are advantageous.
