This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and components.

• Construct backend systems utilizing C# and Python, incorporating PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DocumentDB, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Implement, test, and refine maintainable software solutions that address both immediate and long-term needs.

• Engage in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to colleagues.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to outline technical strategies and solutions.

• Contribute to lending infrastructure that facilitates fintech partners in originating, funding, servicing, and selling consumer and commercial loans throughout a compliant end-to-end lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing enterprise systems using modern object-oriented programming languages, including at least 2 years in C# or Python.

• At least 2 years of experience with SQL, preferably with PostgreSQL or SQL Server.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted and agentic code generation tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).

• Knowledge of database persistence frameworks (e.g., nHibernate, Entity Framework).

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience or familiarity with Domain Driven Design.

• Understanding of Cloud Architecture, preferably AWS.

• Proficiency with Docker and Containers.

• Preferred experience in designing and developing distributed systems and event-driven architecture.

• Familiarity with MassTransit or NServiceBus, RabbitMQ, and idempotency is a plus.

• Experience or understanding of the financial industry or accounting is beneficial but not mandatory.
