This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the current CTI product while enhancing software integrations with diverse PBX technologies.
• Create new features aimed at enhancing Spok’s customer experience.
• Collaborate with Development leads to design and implement CTI solutions.
• Aid technical experts in the development of telephony systems and call centers.
• Engage actively in the software development process, including design, architecture, and technical direction.
• Contribute new code, review pull requests, and execute small to mid-sized projects from inception to completion.
• Track development progress through reports, roadblocks, and retrospectives.
• Take part in the architecture, design, and development of new features.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to fulfill requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Engage in Scrum ceremonies such as backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the application lifecycle from concept, design, testing, release, to support.
• Adhere to development, documentation, testing, and deployment processes.
• Provide development support for existing field applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues.
• Assist with technical documentation, including installation and configuration guides.
• Keep updated with technological advancements, particularly in AI and its impact on development efficiency.
• Collaborate across functions and departments to solve complex customer issues.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience with C#.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft stack web development, including ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, SQL Server, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SignalR, React, and Angular.
• 1–2 years of experience with scripting languages like Python and Shell Scripting.
• Experience in an Agile-based development environment.
• Familiarity with build pipelining and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Familiarity with unit testing.
• Proficient in Git.
• Knowledge of common call center terminology and features, including call control features, agent state, and call queuing.
