📋 Description

• Act as a senior technical authority across various software projects

• Integrate hands-on engineering with strategic solution development

• Convert intricate business and user requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable systems

• Steer system architecture, development standards, integrations, and best practices

• Work collaboratively with architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders

• Oversee the resolution of complex technical challenges and guide solution design, implementation strategy, and code quality

• Offer advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance for intricate production issues

• Address escalated support incidents and conduct root cause analysis

• Implement enduring solutions to enhance system stability and operational efficiency

• Design and refine solutions for production analysis, data corrections, and issue resolution

• Lead large-scale and cross-functional technical projects

• Drive implementation strategy, technical alignment, risk management, and delivery execution

• Provide technical oversight across various projects

• Direct test strategy, automation, quality engineering practices, test plans, test cases, regression strategies, and validation methods

• Enhance testing standards, coverage, and release quality

• Mentor and support engineering teams

• Advocate for engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of modern technologies and best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering or a related field

• Proven experience in leading complex technical initiatives and shaping engineering direction across teams

• Advanced knowledge and experience within the insurance industry

• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, integrations, and business processes

• Preferred broad knowledge across various business domains and platforms

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent work experience

• Preferred locations for hiring/work include Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, or Texas
